  ALL ABOUT THE CLINIC

·         Clinic offers painless, safe and confidential abortion.

·         I have been performing abortions for the last 30 years.

·         Method of abortion: Non surgical abortion by medicines or abortion conducted by vacuum suction.

·         These methods are safe and are relatively free of complications.

·         Centre is fully equipped with all machines required for the procedure and we use all disposables, so there is no risk of infection.

·         Abortion is conducted in warm, clean and sterelised surroundings.

·         Prior to the procedure, we conduct all blood and urine tests required.

·         Ultrasound is performed before the procedure to know the exact size and position of intrauterine pregnancy.

·         Procedure is performed either in general or local anaesthesia under ultrasound guidance and it usually lasts for about 10-15 minutes.

·         After the procedure, the patient is shifted to the recovery room where she rests for about one hour and is then discharged.

·         Patient is counselled about the family planning methods to prevent further unwanted pregnancy.

·     Advice regarding emergency contraception given.
